As a child, I could either be found surrounded by paper and paints, or on an adventure outside in nature. I grew up in the Yorkshire Dales and the rural landscape informed my love of the natural world.

I take inspiration from the fields and hedges of my childhood. The regular visitors to my garden also pop up in my sketchbooks, so you’ll see foxes, badgers, deer and squirrels, to name a few!

I began a regular sketchbook practice in 2020. I joined Zoom sessions and sketchbook challenges and I haven’t looked back since.
